Our vision at Called to Love Outreach, Inc. is to serve and love people wherever they are. Domestic and international opportunities arise daily to help others, and we want to give as many opportunities as possible for you to be a part of changing the world one project at a time.

We truly believe that love knows no borders, nor does it have limits, and we are simply called to love other people just like Christ first loved us.

About us

OUR VISION

Kelsea Jones, President

I grew up going to a church and feeling God's presence in so many ways. I founded Called to Love Outreach because I have the heart of a missionary, as well as a teacher. I began doing mission work when I was 18 years old and it has become a huge part of my life. To date, I have been to 13 different countries and have plans to add to my list! In addition to running the organization, serving both domestically and internationally, I am also a secondary Family and Consumer Science teacher who knows the value of education, teaching life skills, and empowering youth to reach their full potential.

Fun Facts: I have been skydiving, have a heart for adoption, love my family and friends, and my favorite things to do are laugh and help others.

Meet The Board of Directors

Lindsea Jones, Vice President

Ever since my first mission trip to San Salvador, El Salvador, my heart continues to be called to love. In my travels, the Lord has taught me that love has no boarders. Wherever we feel our hearts belong, whether it be in our own communities, our own state, our country or even other countries, we must remember that we are all loved the same. I have a strong passion to serve and help others in need and I am so blessed to be apart of an organization that is founded on such values.

Fun Facts: I am currently learning the Swedish language.

Linda Jones, Secretary

I began doing outreach work and serving others many years ago domestically, which eventually lead to serving internationally. A huge part of my life is family and the passion of applying my life coaching certification and recovery specialist certification within my community. I've also been able to share my faith within my hair salon business for the past 26 years. I am married and have two adult daughters.

Fun fact: I love being an advocate for those without a voice, particularly those seeking recovery from addiction.

Keith Jones, Treasurer

I have been married for over 25 years and have two adult daughters. Anyone who knows me, knows that family is everything to me. I started my faith journey a little before I got married and have spent a lot of time serving the church, going to Christian music festivals with the youth group, and I served with my family for a week long mission trip in El Salvador in 2015. Before I went to El Salvador, I did not understand why my daughters kept returning to that specific country, but after going myself, I understand completely. I chose to serve on this board because I understand how a week-long mission trip has the power to impact a person's life and I am happy to continue serving Christ with my family.

Fun fact: I am scuba diver certified, coached wrestling for 27 years, and I enjoy gardening and being outside.

Amy Williams, Community Outreach Coordinator

Jen Hatmaker's words best describe me and my heart for Called to Love Outreach:

I'm in this for the LOVE, fighting for grace,  mercy, hope, and love in a world of pain and impossible standards, We are each gifted for a specific faith work, and gifts can be ordinary stuff in the middle of real life. My gifts are mercy, giving, encouragement, and truth; all needed every day for every person. With healthy boundaris in place, these gifts say to others, "I care, I am here, my empathetic heart hearts with your, you're not alone, you can do this, you;re worth it, and though I cannot completely fix this hard stuff for you, I will be here to love and pray you through it until God fixes it for you". We all have a story and by sharing our experience, strength, and hope can help others know that they're not alone. Working together with other's gifts  will result in freedom for broken/chained hearts and good news for the poor!

Fun fact: I love music, laughter, children, older/wiser people, animals, nature, heart-to-heart talks, serenity, and capturing pictures of happy moments.

Shani Reed, Community Outreach Coordinator (Huntingdon County)

I have always believed in God since I was a child! However, I was stuck at that children's Bible School level. It wasn't until I became an adult and truly understood and started to gain knowledge of the Bible did I see all the blessings and love God had! It was placed on my heart to join Called to Love and reach out to people/youth because I want them to FEEL and SEE the blessings and love from our Father God and son Jesus Christ......to FEEL and SEE what I have!!!! Our God is an awesome God, He reigns from heaven above!!!

Fun fact: I love to laugh and I laugh REALLY loud

Nakita Williams, Community Outreach Coordinator (Wellsboro, PA region)

From early childhood on, I attended church every Sunday, without a full understanding of what it meant. My entire life, I've struggled with my health and the last few years were rough. In those darkest times I felt as though I had no one to turn to, and that's where I found my salvation and inspiration to share the Word. Kelsea Jones is my cousin, my inspiration, and the most determined person I've ever met.  As soon as I heard about this organization, I knew it was going to be amazing.

Fun facts: I've seen every friends episode at least 10 times, I love to paint and make crafts, I treat my dog like she's my child, I'm a hair stylist, and I'm addicted to coffee.

Lisa Appleby LPN, AAC, CRS, Community Outreach Coordinator

I came to follow Christ in 2013 when I was delivered from the depths of addiction. Since becoming a Christian, Jesus has placed a a fire within me to spread His unconditional love and become his hands and feet. I want others to experience the hope, grace, mercy and love that is so freely given to me.

Fun fact: I am fluent in sign language!

Jill Boyce, Community Outreach Coordinator/Financial Analyst (Tioga, PA region)

When Kelsea asked me to be part of her non-profit I was honored, humbled and know that it was God's next path for me. I believe God's intention for my life is to help others, both in my personal and work life. My children are my heart and soul and I have taught them through the years that it is best to give of themselves and use their talents to help others. They have seen me be actively involved in their school through PTO during their elementary years, as well as the basketball and volleyball boosters in their high school years. I love my family and God and I'm totally passionate about helping others.

Fun fact: For the past ten years, I have been the Northern Tier Coordinator for the Non-profit, Heart to Heart, which brings Christmas gifts to the homes of families that are in need.

Ali Lesher, Community Outreach Coordinator (Lebanon/Lancaster region)

I grew up in a Christian family led by my parents who exemplified love and service to all they encountered. Because of their love for Christ, their family, and so many others, I pray their legacy continues on with my husband, myself, and our children. I am blessed to have the opportunity to spend the majority of time caring for them.

Fun facts: I am a lover of all kinds of music, the beach, volunteering at school along with being a huge fan of my beloved dogs.

Natalie Roll, Communication Specialist/Spanish Translator

I am a secondary Spanish teacher in my rural hometown. Every day I go to work hoping to inspire and encourage young people in my community to think outside the box. My ultimate goal is to help others become responsible and compassionate global citizens and to take part in making  our world beautiful.

Fun fact: I raise and release abandoned squirrels every spring.

Kylie-Jo Miller, Youth Representative (Huntingdon, PA region)

My heart instantly goes out to the children in the world who are put in situations that are beyond their control. God has taught me through the past couple of years, through missions and friends, that I am a princess of God. What a joy it is to be part of an organization that allows me to share that experience with others and remind young ladies, like myself, of their true worth.

Fun fact: My number one destination to visit is Dubai.

Dakota Weglarz, Youth Representative/IT (Huntingdon, PA region)

I have grown up going to church and religious education, and felt as if I knew God when I was young. As I grew older, my faith was challenged by doubt and uncertainty. I hoped God was there, but I was searching for proof that I wouldn't be able to find. My faith was rekindled when I started volunteering as a counselor at a Christian camp two years ago. Here, I experienced God in a whole new way, and could share his love with young children through bible studies and worship songs. I realized that serving God is what we are called to do. I am very excited to see what Called to Love Outreach can accomplish and I am so happy to be a part of it.

Fun Facts: I love to travel with my family, and white-water rafting and snorkeling are my favorite outdoor activities!

Jameson Lesher- Youth Representative

I can remember attending church since before I was in kindergarten. God has always had my whole heart, and I live by His words and wisdom in every aspect of my life. I have been interested in Called to Love Outreach ever since I was informed about it. Kelsea Jones has had a major role in my life as a mentor/babysitter for the last five years. I have only been on one mission trip , which was to the island of the Dominican Republic. I am currently  a sophomore attending  high school, taking classes in business, and being part of clubs that support God and His love for His people all over the world.

I am truly grateful to have such a forgiving and loving God to confide in and serve.
